Clough Head Farm is set in the superb countryside of the Staffordshire Moorlands within
the Peak District overlooking the beautiful Churnet Valley.
Positioned amongst fields and woodlands at the end of a long private drive it
provides a safe and traffic free environment ideal for children and dogs, or just simply
relaxing and enjoying the coutryside.
There is easy access to walks in the moorlands or the adjacent Derbyshire Dales, the
limestone valleys of the Rivers Manifold and Dove being nearby. Local footpaths pass right by the door.
The village of Ipstones is just 3/4 of a mile away and has an excellent general store, Post Office,
butchers and some good pubs serving food. A little further afield are the thriving market towns of
Leek and Ashbourne offering much of interest to the visitor.
Within 25 miles there are several stately homes, including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall with delightful gardens.
The "Potteries", Stoke-on-Trent is rich in our industrial heritage, of particular interest being the Gladstone
Pottery Museum and the Wedgewood Visitor Centre.
The famous leisure park at Alton Towers is a scenic 15 minutes drive.
